Inspiration
The name I Marc 4 (or Marc 4) comes from the initials of their members: Maurizio Majorana (bass), Antonello Vannucchi (Hammond/piano), Roberto Podio (drums/percussion) and Carlo Pes (guitar).
The quartet provided some of the best theme music of Italian cinema in the '70s, with groovy and deep background music ranging from Jazz, Funk and Psychedelic. They were used as studio orchestra for many legendary Italian movie soundtracks, and worked with multiple internationally famed maestros.
"This is album is surely to be considered among their most underground and psychedelic works. A killer blend of downtempo funk, dope atmospheres, themes, and lounge-Bossa cocktail music."
