Inspiration
For the gear heads, it's worth adding that in his studios, Michael Garrison was surrounded by an ARP 2600 with sequencers, a Moog synthesizer with Ribbon Control System, ARP Axxe, Arp String synthesizer, Moog Poly pedals, and a Synare 2 analog percussion synthesizer. Those were his tools of the trade to compose music in line with the 'Berlin School' sound, the innovative precursor of ambient music known from pioneering German artists like Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze.
"Michael's work consistently evokes cosmic ecstasy. His music conveys escape from earthly bonds and safe passage to a realm of calm and freedom."
