Inspiration
Son Lux's beautifully layered soundtrack for the blockbuster movie Everything Everywhere All at Once even made them the first band nominated for 'Best Score' at the Oscars since The Beatles in 1971! Other movies Ryan Lott, Rafiq Bhatia, and Ian Chang have scored include Paper Towns and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them.
To celebrate ten years of their album Lanterns, Son Lux offered some of the songs—with exclusive multitracks!—on Tracklib and invited people to sample their music.
"I love the concept of re-contextualization. Among the art forms, music is uniquely suited to it. Its ability to bend back on itself and pivot is a constant source of inspiration, and an aspect I exploit in my own creative process."

"My instrument is the studio. When I play my instrument, I'm creating music using the studio. All the other instruments serve it."
