Actually Vintage: The First Additions
The first offerings that are made available in Tracklib's new series of Actually Vintage sample packs, are Ritmi Percussivi Vari (a rare collection of percussion instruments) and Ambienti Spazio-Temporali (archival loops and pads featuring ambient soundscapes). Both collections were recorded in Rome during the 1970s, unearthed by Sonor Music Editions, and both are now announced as the first-ever Actually Vintage royalty-free sample packs!

About Sonor Music Editions
"These truly vintage sample packs offer an authenticity that modern packs simply can’t replicate," says Lorenzo Fabrizi, co-founder of Sonor Music Editions, the Italian record label that collaborates with Tracklib to release the first batch of Actually Vintage packs. "The timeless sound and unique character of these artists' contributions make these packs stand out."
In 2021, The New York Times described Sonor Music Editions as a label that has 'resurrected Italian classics from the European library genre.' With Tracklib's new announcement, it's also all about resurrection. Old, authentic music gets resurrected into royalty-free sample packs for a new generation of music producers. By doing so, the latter group is supported in releasing music with samples, without the need for legal headaches. The former, original musicians and rightsholders, generate new revenue streams by the fair pro-rata model of Tracklib’s Sounds library. Everyone wins.
