Michael Rogel

Michael is an electronica artist originally from Northwestern New Mexico, who now works out of Bozeman, MT. He is influenced heavily by spiritual expression in music and would like to incorporate a sense of this as Enigma, Purity Ring, and Crystal Castles are able to do. His music is made in a home studio in Bozeman. He was very much influenced by Tupac Shakur. Shortly after discovering Shakur's music, he began to make his own. His career began while attending college in Los Angeles where he became heavily immersed in the bass music culture of the west coast. Years later, he returned to New Mexico, where he won the New Mexico Music Award for Best Electronica song of 2016. He looks forward to someday again working in Los Angeles and collaborating with artists all over the world.
