For the last twelve-plus years, Dutch production duo Firebeatz have worked their way from the southern Dutch city of Tilburg to mainstages around the globe. They play mostly self-produced material, including collabs with Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix and Tiësto. Add remixes of artists like Pitbull, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg & Flo Rida to that, and you have a dynamic formula to get crowds moving—ranging from partygoers at Electric Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas) to Beyond Wonderland (Bay Area) and, closer to home, Amsterdam Dance Event.
Firebeatz got picked up by Spinnin’ Records early on in their career, since then their home turf for tracks such as "Blowback" (with Sander van Doorn", "Lift Me Up" (with Oliver Heldens & Schella), “Dear New York,” and “Helicopter” with Martin Garrix. Last year, they signed a new two-year deal for a sling of releases. “We’ve always been very happy in working with Spinnin’ Records,” they stated in a press statement. “After doing a couple of excursions this really feels like coming home. The creative and uplifting energy of their team works fantastic and contagious for us, and we can’t wait to get things going with Spinnin’ again!".
Talk about modern-day dance music, and there’s no way to not mention Spinnin’ Records. The Amsterdam-based record label boasts an impressive roster in dance, house & trance featuring heavyweights such as Afrojack, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Eric Prydz & others. The label started on the verge of the millennium and got acquired by Warner Music Group in 2017 for a massive $100 million deal. Even expanding further from there, also continuing with a wide range of sub-labels focused on different styles of electronic music, and artist-led sub-labels by the likes of Tiësto, Don Diablo en Oliver Heldens.
