Jason Iyama

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jason Iyama began his musical journey with classical piano at the Colburn School of Performing Arts, eventually leading him to Berklee College of Music as a songwriter and guitarist. Jason has since performed with artists like Mick Jenkins, Malachiii, and One True God, with notable appearances at NPR Tiny Desk, Genius Open Mics, and festivals like Smokers Club and Afropunk. In addition to composing samples for HOUSE OF WAVES Music Library, he releases rock music under his name, electronic music under an alias, and frequently performs guitar and DJs around town, blending his classical roots with contemporary sounds.
