Hailing from Brooklyn NY, Juan Fortino is a powerhouse singer/songwriter/performer. His original compositions and delicate yet thoughtful interpretations of the American songbook stand out from the average artist.

Mr. Fortino teams with the best jazz musicians in NYC to the delight of audiences in New York City, New Jersey and Long Island music scenes. Juan’s grand stage presence and strong, but sensitive voice captures and holds audiences’ attention throughout his dynamic sets.

Mr. Fortino shaped his voice displaying a level of sincerity and control rarely seen today. He studied with Jazz Legend and mentor Jay Clayton at the Cornish College of the Arts and continues to work at the Vermont Jazz Center.

In conjunction with his work in the jazz world, he has worked with numerous notables including Bob Powers, Oscar Zambrano and Dawn Tallman.
