Matthew Tavares

Matthew Tavares is a 2x Grammy Award Winning, 6x Platinum and 5x Grammy Nominated musical artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist. As founding member of BADBADNOTGOOD, Tavares performed and co-musical directed the Virgil Abloh Louis Vuiton spring/summer debut runway show in Paris in 2018, performed with Frank Ocean at his debut festival appearance at Coachella in 2012 and toured with Ghostface Killah in 2016. As a producer-songwriter he has penned hits for Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, Rosalia, Camilla Cabello, Travis Scott and many more. As a solo artist releasing music under the name “Matty”, Tavares has gained over 23 million streams on Spotify. In 2020 he released three genre spanning albums under his full name, as well as two avant-garde jazz records with Leland Whitty and a solo piano record.
