Mohamed Elkhalifa (professionally known as Mido) is a Canadian composer, record producer,
songwriter, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist. Best known for his work on Don Toliver's "Cardigan",
where he was featured as a producer and songwriter, he has also worked with other major artists including Bas (Dreamville), Diana Gordon and more.
Mido's Sudanese background has greatly influenced his musical creations. Mido studied music under Oddisee from 2010 to 2019 and became fluent in drumming, programming, and songwriting. One of Mido's main goals as an artist and creator is to support other Black creators from Toronto to foster collaboration and support within the artistic community. Midos ability to play multiple instruments and sound design skills allow him to create unique sonics that have caught the attention of many industry producers and songwriters. Mido frequently collaborates with major producers such as Frank Dukes, Oddisee, Frank Dukes, CVRE and many more.
