Petter Eldh

Swedish double bass virtuoso and producer Petter Eldh has been a driving force behind the development of a "Berlin-Nordic" Jazz axis since his moving to the German capital ten years ago. He now showcases all his facets as a composer, leader, producer and bassist in his latest project Koma Saxo. The highly potent new five-piece band brings together heavy jazz names, including Eldh on bass, Christian Lillinger on drums and the frontline of three saxes: Otis Sandsjö, Jonas Kullhammar and Mikko Innanen. On this release, Petter Eldh also works wonders as a producer, arranging, remixing most of the tracks, blending and remapping the original recordings with hip hop production techniques.
